Instructions
Put cheese, salami, lettuce, avocado and nuts on a plate. Drizzle oil over the salad and serve.
Tip!
It doesn't have to be salami... any fatty deli meat will do. Pepperoni, soppresata, coppa, or speck are all delicious substitutes, so experiment and find your favorite!

It looks like. I love charcuterie plates; this appears to be a delicious variation.

There is something wrong with the metric values. For 2 people, it says 110g salami. For 1 person, it says 50g.

"Real food on a plate"... Hmm, when both salami and brie are processed foods?

Is the salami nitrate free or does it matter?

First time trying Brie cheese. Didn't enjoy it. The other ingredients helped balance the flavor, but I suggest just chopping up all the ingredients and mixing them into a bowl instead and eat it like a salad.

What the heck is 60 ml of macadamias? I just weighed out 60 ml on my multi-weight scales and it’s two fistfuls. Can this be right?

We are working on revamping many of our recipes where ingredients are listed by volume instead of weight. In the US, they go by volume measurements much more frequently even for things that should be weighed. The US version of this recipe calls for 1/2 cup macadamia nuts and an online conversion tool tells me that equals 67 grams. I hope that is more useful!

It’s really hard to find sugar free deli meats. Any brand suggestions? I lucked out and found sugar free roast beef for another plate but salami has the corn starch sugars etc.

Brand availability is going to vary. In general, many Boar's Head products are a good option.

That doesn't even begin to be a large enough serving of greens. Love everything else - simple and clean is better. I prefer nitrate/ dextrose -free cured meats, but that's just me. Dirty Keto is better than a box of low-fat crisps and a nice HFCS-laden soda.

Can I swap out the cheese? Brie is a little rich feeling nauseous eating it.

Can I swap out the nuts?
Yes, you can use other nuts. Pecans and Brazil nuts are two other very low carb options.

What can I swap out for nuts? Where I live they are really expensive as are seeds.

The nuts add crunch and fat, so anything that provides that with low carbohydrates would suffice. Perhaps you could add a bit bacon or a couple slices of red pepper? Be sure to count the carbohydrates :)
